• Consider using motion sensor lights to help guide trick-or treaters safely to your door and deter any would-be pranksters.

Be Mindful with Your Decorations

• When setting up decorations, make sure nothing flammable (like dry cornstalks or paper skeletons) is near open flames or heat sources. 
• If you’re using extension cords or outdoor lighting, double-check that everything is secure and away from foot traffic.

• Battery-operated candles or glow sticks are a safe, festive choice for lighting your pumpkins without the risk of fire.
