IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST

We are currently looking to hire one full-time IT Support Specialist, who will work on innovative technology within a growing insurance brokerage.

The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, and a solid understanding of IT department’s role in delivering IT support for a multi-site organization. This entails security & software updates, daily on-premise, remote, and cloud infrastructure maintenance, application/help-desk support and ensuring minimal downtown in day-to-day operations for all systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 •Provide preventative maintenance for all IT infrastructure to guarantee maximum uptime across all company systems
 •Provide help desk technical support, ensuring proper response times on support tickets
 •Innovate new tools / systems, working with IT & company management to provide solutions that drive the business forward
 •Responsible for disaster recovery monitoring, backup and recovery testing
 •Assist in the diagnosis and resolution of hardware and/or software issues

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2+ years of IT Support experience
• MCP, MTA, MCSA, MCSE or similar certification will be considered an asset
•Network+ or similar certification will be considered an asset
•Knowledge of modern hardware, operating systems and applications (Windows Server 2012 or higher for servers, Windows 7 or higher for both desktops and laptops, Cisco firewalls, routers and switches)
•Experience supporting Office 365 will be considered an asset
•Ability to diagnose network, hardware and software problems.
•Valid driver’s license with clean abstract & own vehicle (mileage reimbursed)

Personal Insurance Broker  Sioux Lookout

We are currently looking for a hardworking, independent and highly motivated individual to join our team of dedicated insurance professionals at our Sioux Lookout office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for processing client requests for routine policy endorsements, renewals or cancellations, and log all business activities with utmost accuracy, and will be required to obtained a license as a Registered Insurance Broker in Ontario. The ability to work within a team environment is a must.

Qualifications

• Professional demeanor and extraordinary customer service skills
• Effective and professional communication skills; both written and verbal
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to re-prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Experience working under pressure and maintaining composure in a fast paced and changing environment
• Must be willing to participate in ongoing training and education
• Significant computer aptitude, and working knowledge of MS Office, specifically Word and Excel
