Commercial Product Placement Specialist
Kenora, ON

The Standard Insurance is excited to continue growing our team and is looking to hire a full time Commercial Product Placement Specialist at our Kenora office. In this role you will work as part of our Commercial Team to coordinate placement of business with insurers on behalf of our Producers and our clients.

About you:

  • A consultative professional dedicated to prioritizing customer service, fostering collaboration, and thriving in a team-oriented environment.
  • Proven ability to establish and nurture positive working relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Effective goal-setting, problem solving, and decision-making skills to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
  • Industry experience is an asset, but not necessary as we are willing provide extensive training with the successful applicant
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • A current level 1 license as a Registered Insurance Broker in Ontario, or willing to obtain

 

About the Job:

  • Proactively manage the policy renewal cycle according to standards of service
  • Conduct negotiations with insurers to secure placements for both new and existing business
  • Analyze coverage and premiums from various Insurers and make sound recommendations
  • Maintain client records, review and create submissions and proposals
  • Assist Commercial team in troubleshooting issues with accounts and specialty insurance needs
  • Participate in ongoing training and education
  • Prepare reports and coverage summaries as required

Personal Insurance Advisor, Support Team
Ontario

Are you someone who pays close attention to details and has a passion for providing exceptional support? We are currently seeking two motivated and resourceful individuals to join our organization as Personal Insurance Advisors on our Support Team.  One position will be based at our Kenora branch, and the other can be located at any of our Ontario offices.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting our Personal Insurance Advisors in processing daily client requests for routine policy endorsements, updates, cancellations and will be responsible for logging all business activities.

To be successful in this role, candidates will need:

  • Effective communicator, who is both dependable and punctual and has the capacity to work both independently and collaboratively, as part of a team
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Keen attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of trust and integrity while dealing with private and confidential information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • A current level 1 license as a Registered Insurance Broker in Ontario, or willing to obtain

The Administrator will support our their department efficiently and accurately processing policy endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and will diligently record all business activities. The Administrator will be comfortable navigating between various company portals, documenting files and verifying information.

This role demands versatility, independence as well as being able to work in a team environment on a wide variety of administrative tasks and projects.

About You

  • Effective communication, attention to detail, compliance with regulations and processes, and a commitment to great service by resolving issues and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner, are essential for this role.
  • Maintain data integrity and contribute to the overall efficiency and accuracy of administrative operations within the organization.
  • Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Experience working under pressure and maintaining composure in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Must be willing to participate in ongoing training and education
  • Proficient using computer applications, including MS Office
